Clitheroe Wedding
When you mix a stunning new venue, an iconic castle, a surprise VW camper, and a whole lot of love, you get one unforgettable wedding day. Vicky and Claire tied the knot at The Clock Tower at Clitheroe, bringing together close family, great friends, and heaps of personality – exactly the kind of wedding I live for as a wedding photographer in Lancashire.
The Clock Tower Clitheroe
This wedding was one of the first I’ve shot at the newly refurbished Clock Tower at Clitheroe Registry Office, which reopened in 2023 after an impressive renovation. Located in the heart of Clitheroe, just a short stroll from the castle, the Clock Tower blends traditional architecture with modern style. Think elegant stained glass windows, crisp white panelling, and a subtle sage green colour palette that just happened to match Vicky and Claire’s wedding theme perfectly. (Good design or fate? Either way, it worked!)
The Clock Tower now serves as one of the most beautiful and inclusive places to get married in Lancashire, offering something fresh for couples looking to keep things small and personal.
Love, VW Surprises & A Tear or Two
Vicky arrived in serious style – thanks to Claire’s surprise vintage VW camper van (total goals, by the way). There was hardly a dry eye when Vicky walked in and locked eyes with Claire, bouquet in hand, ready to say “I do.”
These two legends were surrounded by their three kids and closest mates, who made up their bridal parties. The vibe? Pure love and a whole lot of laughs exactly what a wedding should be.
LGBTQ+ Friendly Wedding Photography in Lancashire
Let’s get one thing straight: Love is love, and I’m here for it. I proudly shoot LGBTQ+ weddings across Lancashire, the Ribble Valley, Clitheroe, and the wider Northwest. Your wedding should feel 100% you, whether that means ditching traditions, wearing matching suits, or walking down the aisle to your own beat.
Post-Ceremony Vibes at Clitheroe Castle
After the ceremony, we headed up to Clitheroe Castle – one of my favourite photo spots in Lancashire. Perched high above the town, this 12th-century Norman castle offers jaw dropping views over the Ribble Valley. It’s the kind of backdrop that makes even the most camera shy couples feel like rockstars.
This ancient fortress is steeped in history, originally built to keep watch over the Forest of Bowland. These days, it’s a top-tier location for wedding portraits with a serious “wow” factor. Vicky’s dress caught the breeze just right for those cinematic moments, and Claire? She nailed the awesome suit meets sneakers look with ease.
Real Weddings, Real People, Real Moments
If you’re planning a wedding in Lancashire, Clitheroe, or the Northwest whether it's at the Clock Tower, Clitheroe Castle, or anywhere in between and you're after a photographer who's fun, down to earth, LGBTQ+ friendly, and all about capturing real, unposed moments, then hey –you might’ve just found your person (that’s me!).
I’m here to document your day without the cheesy poses or awkward vibes – just genuine smiles, meaningful glances, and maybe a few happy tears. Like Vicky and Claire’s Clitheroe wedding, your story deserves to be told with heart, humour, and honesty.
